Sorting with copper golems

Permanent sorting templates with [Filter]

Use an anvil to rename one of the items you want to sort to exactly [Filter]. The spelling and square brackets are the same in every language.

Put it in the normal destination chest, for example a renamed iron ingot for iron. The copper golem still recognises the item type despite its name.

Hoppers and hopper minecarts skip this item and keep moving the other items. The marker stays even after all ordinary items have been removed.
